The Battle of Changjin Lake was won

The Battle of Chosin Lake was a key battle in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, which took place from November 27 to December 24, 1950, and the 9th Corps of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army engaged in a fierce confrontation with the US 10th Army in severe cold and extreme cold conditions. The battle ended in victory for the Chinese Volunteers, successfully recovering the vast eastern area north of the 38th parallel and forcing the U.S. ace troops to experience the "longest retreat" in history.

The victory in the Battle of Chosin Lake not only changed the strategic posture of the Korean battlefield, but also forced the United Nations forces to switch from offensive to defensive, completely crushing the US military's attempt to end the war before Christmas. This battle creatively annihilated a whole regiment of the U.S. army and was an important victory in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.

The victory of this battle demonstrated the iron will and lofty patriotism of the Chinese People's Volunteers. The soldiers still held their ground in the extremely harsh natural environment and defended the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity with their blood and lives. The victory night of the Battle of Changjin Lake coincides with December 24, and the historical significance of this point in time reminds us to remember history, inherit the spirit of our ancestors, and continue to carry forward the fighting spirit of the volunteer army to support and promote the development and progress of the country.
